Following a period of unconsciousness and experiencing a lapse in her short-term memory, she momentarily overlooked Spider-Man’s true identity. Later on, utilizing her precognitive abilities, she reached out to him after foreseeing her own imminent demise. Convinced that participating in a mystical ritual known as the Gathering of the Five alongside Norman Osborn could prolong her life, she requested Spider-Man’s assistance in procuring one of the required artifact fragments. In this ritual, each participant would be bestowed with either knowledge, power, immortality, insanity, or death. Spider-Man was successful in obtaining the fragment, and during the ceremony, Madame Web ostensibly received the outcome of death. However, in reality, she gained immortality and found herself rejuvenated, appearing much younger and in better health.
